FAIL!
So I didn't make my goal this week. I didn't quite finish up my 10 warriors. I'm close, but I still have to do their bases, do a black wash, and then paint in the horns of their helmets.
I think I'm getting a bit burned out of painting the dwarfs. I didn't do any painting Monday or Tuesday, then went out to play D&D with some guys from work on Wednesday. But I think the main reason I wasn't able to finish my Dwarfs this week was the fact that the site looks like ass. :)
Seriously though, I'm sure I could finish this evening, but I just don't feel like it. I think I'm going to finish them up tomorrow, then take next week off from painting. That'll give me 2 weeks to finish my last 10 warriors, my General, Shieldbarers, BSB and my last Engineer which I think is plenty of time.
Anywho, I'm off in a bit to go play 40k so that'll probably put me in a better mood.
SO.. Let me just make sure I understand..
You're tired of painting dwarfs (an army you have never played) and are blaming this on... the website.
Riiight..
I blamed it on like 14 things.
Oh, and I said I was tired of painting the dwarfs.
Oh well...you will either play the dwarfs or not...no use in prodding you further since it's supposed to be a fun game. If it isn't something you want to play then none of us can fault you. I don't think you gave it much of an effort other than painting a lot of models. At least you like 40k...we'll be back to 40k eventually. No time soon though.
Oh and I like the site. I've liked all ten of the versions we have had. Keep it up Calvin or Jason or whomever keeps tweaking it.
Well, at least you don't have my problem. I have a full painted army ready to go and love the game, but never get to play anymore because the only day a week I am available is the day that noone wants to play. Maybe I just need to go back to video games....
